Rand Paul Says He “Strongly Believes” Obama Gave “Direct Permission” For Flynn Investigation

During an interview with Fox News host Martha MacCallum, Republican Senator Rand Paul said that he “strongly believes” that former President Barack Obama gave “direct oversight and direct permission” for the witch hunt against former national security advisor Michael Flynn.

“Do you think that it is right to let the American people know who decided to unmask General Flynn from those phone call transcripts?” MacCallum asked.

“Absolutely and I don’t believe any of this could have happened without President Obama,” Paul replied. “I completely believe that not only did he know — and others have already said that he knew about the conversation, he knew about trying to go after General Flynn and that it was being directed from the White House. So I have every expectation that President Obama is in the middle of this.”

Paul added, “But I think it’s worse. I think you go back to Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the whole fake dossier and all the stuff, all of the FISA warrants that were I think improperly and illegally gotten started on the Trump campaign, I really strongly believe that President Obama gave specific and direct oversight and direct permission for this.”

MARTHA MACCALLUM, FOX NEWS ANCHOR: But, first, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul.

Senator Paul, thank you very much. Good to have you with us tonight.

SEN. RAND PAUL (R-KY): Thanks for having me.

MACCALLUM: First of all, a bit of breaking news as we came to air this evening, that Judge Emmet Sullivan says that he’s going to open up the decision whether or not to drop charges against General Flynn to others who might want to comment on it.

So, this process drags on it appears.

PAUL: You know, I’ve never heard of someone outside the government bringing charges against someone. I think that the government made a big mistake bringing these charges against General Flynn.

We never should have been listening to his phone call, and we shouldn’t have been trying to entrap him into or create a crime.

They never thought he committed any crime. They brought him in to try to create a crime. What a terrible travesty of justice.

This needs to be done with. I thought we were already done with it, and I surely hope that we are going to finally be done with it.

But the ultimate thing for us and the legislature is, we should not let these abuses of power happen again, and I’m pushing hard to make sure that we take this power away from government.

MACCALLUM: So, what the — what about the unmasking? Do you think that it is right to let the American people know who decided to unmask General Flynn from those phone call transcripts?

PAUL: Absolutely. And I don’t believe any of this could have happened without President Obama. I completely believe that not only did he know — and others have already said that he knew about the conversation, he knew about trying to go after General Flynn and that it was being directed from the White House. So I have every expectation that President Obama is in the middle of this.

But I think it’s worse. I think you go back to Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the whole fake dossier and all the stuff, all of the FISA warrants that were I think improperly and illegally gotten started on the Trump campaign, I really strongly believe that President Obama gave specific and direct oversight and direct permission for this.

Think about it. We have never allowed a secret court to be used against a presidential campaign. Don’t you think that was sensitive enough that it went all the way to the very top?

So, yes, the media have treated President Obama with kid gloves. Someone needs to ask him directly, did you approve of Operation Crossfire Hurricane? I think the answer is yes.

MACCALLUM: So, you know, I mean, to put the shoe on the other foot, a lot — do you have evidence of that? You say you’re sure that the president — the former president was involved in this, why are you so sure?

PAUL: Well, we’ll find out. I’m hoping that a lot of this will be declassified, but I have such a strong feeling that this was such a sensitive subject — he’s already admitted or admitted through people that worked for him, that the Flynn investigation he knew a lot about and they were asking him his permission.

On the way out, Obama officials were all bragging, oh, we’re going to save the republic from this guy Donald Trump by, you know, sending out information to all the intelligence communities about him and his involvement with Russia.

They either truly believed it —

PAUL: — maybe, but I think it was directed by President Obama. And I think that’s what we’re going to discover.

MACCALLUM: That’s one of the questions, of course, the motivation of all of these individuals. They seem in many ways to have, you know, 100 percent believed that what they were pursuing was actually happening.

And one thing that we don’t know yet is whether it was sort of groupthink that reinforced all those notions or whether or not, you know, they were — they were basing it on something else. There’s no evidence that we’ve seen in these transcripts so far.

Just one other thought on this — two senators, Senator Graham and Senator Cornyn, came out today and said that they don’t think it’s Congress’s role to pursue what President Obama knew about this. They’re going to — they’re happy to leave that in the hands of the Durham investigation.

Do you agree with your colleagues on that?

PAUL: Well, I’m one of those who doubt centralization of power in the Intelligence Community. So, there’s two ways you can go after this. You could investigate whether President — what President Obama knew and when did he know it, but you could also say we need to take this power away.

So, we’re having this big debate over the FISA court, which is supposed to be a Foreign Intelligence Court but was used against the Trump campaign. I have an amendment that would take Americans out of it. I don’t think it’s constitutional to invest (ph) Americans, particularly American campaigns with the secret court. I think it uses a less than constitutional standard.

So, one way I will go about trying to get the truth and to get justice and to try to make this right is to try to prevent it from ever happening again. And I think if my amendment passes, no president will ever be investigated by FISA again.

But I fear that some of the people who don’t want to investigate President Obama are also the same people, Lindsey Graham, who don’t want to have real FISA reform because they love the power of the Intelligence Community to snoop on anyone, including Americans.

MACCALLUM: Well, that’s interesting. We’ll get his response to that at some point and let him answer to that. It’s an interesting point.

So, with regard to what happened today and the hearings with the top officials on the Coronavirus Task Force, here’s the exchange between you and Dr. Fauci that got a lot of attention today.

Watch this.

PAUL: I think the one-size-fits-all that we’re going to have a national strategy and nobody is going to go to school is kind of ridiculous. We really ought to be doing it school district by school district.

And as much as I respect you, Dr. Fauci, I don’t think you’re the end all. I don’t think you’re the one person that gets to make a decision.

DR. ANTHONY FAUCI, DIRECTOR, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ALLERGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES: I’ve never made myself out to be the end all and only voice of this. I’m a scientist, a physician and a public health official. I give advice according to the best scientific evidence.

MACCALLUM: Yes, I want to ask you about the school thing. But, you know, you said that — it was, you know, pointed, to say to him, you know, I don’t think you’re the end-all.

Do you think he’s gotten puffed up or has too much attention or we’re leaning on him too much?

PAUL: You know, I don’t question Dr. Fauci’s motives. I think he’s a good person. I think he wants what’s best for the country, but he’s an extremely cautious person.

And I don’t think any of these experts are omniscient. I think they have a basis of knowledge, but when you prognosticate about the future and when you advocate for things dramatic and drastic like closing all the schools, you should look at all the information.

So, the real question I asked him was, are you aware of the mortality among children? And he is. But the mortality is exceedingly low, close to zero in the age group zero to 18. Very, very low.

So, should we say all of these kids zero to 18 don’t go to school even though their mortality is so low? No. I think we ought to make that part of our decision-making process.

PAUL: But we really need to have competition among the experts, because we had experts, particularly that guy Ferguson over in England, say it’s going to be 2 million. Best case, a million

PAUL: Well, this guy’s gotten everything wrong for the last couple of decades. He predicted mad cow disease would kill 136,000, and 177 people died.

So, we have to take with a grain of salt these experts and their prognostications. The future is very uncertain, but turning down and closing the entire economy has been devastating. That’s a fact.

MACCALLUM: Yes. That is the debate of our moment.

Senator Rand Paul, thank you. Good to see you tonight.

PAUL: Thank you.

Fauci Praises Trump Administration For Coronavirus Response During Senate Hearing

During his testimony before the United States Senate on Tuesday, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci praised the Trump Administration for hitting the “accelerator in every aspect” for combatting the coronavirus.

The comments came when Republican Senator Richard Burr asked Fauci, “Has anybody in this administration ever asked you or any member to take the foot off the gas of trying to find a cure or any type of counter measure?”

***FIGHT BACK Against Liberal Censorship. Download Our Free Trump News App***

“No, Senator, not at all,” Fauci said. “As a matter of fact, we at NIH, as you know, have right from the very beginning put our foot right on that accelerator in every aspect, including the development of vaccines and therapeutics.”

“And as I described my opening statement, we actually started that in January, literally days after the virus was known and its sequence was published,” Fauci added. “So no, I have never been told by anyone to hold back on the development of any countermeasure or any basic research project that we’ve been involved in.”

WATCH the clip below:

Fauci also praised the work that has been done to develop a coronavirus vaccine, noting that it is the fastest anyone has ever worked on a vaccine.

“The NIH trial moved very quickly,” Fauci said. “On January 10th, the sequence was known. On January the 11th, the Vaccine Research Center met to develop a plan. On the 14th of January, we officially started the vaccine development. 62 days later, we are now in Phase I clinical trial with the two doses already fully enrolled. There will be animal safety. The Phase I will directly go into Phase II-III in late spring and early summer. If we are successful, we hope to know that in the late fall and early winter.”

***Piss Off Democrats With Your FREE Betsy Ross Flag***

“There are some important issues, however, in COVID-19 vaccine development,” he continued. “We have many candidates and hope to have multiple winners. In other words, it’s multiple shots on goal. This will be important because this will be good for global availability if we have more than one successful candidate. We also, as the chairman mentioned, will be producing vaccine at risk, which means we’ll be investigating considerable resources in developing doses even before we know any given candidate or candidates work.”

The Daily Wire reports:

Fauci, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Robert Redfield, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Stephen Hahn and Assistant Secretary for Health Brett Giroir all confirmed during their testimonies that they had a non-confrontational relationship with President Donald Trump and that the president listens to their scientific advice.

Their statements came in response to a question from Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), who asked,” The mainstream media and indeed some of my colleagues in the Senate seem to want to paint each of your relationships with our president during this wartime effort as confrontational and lacking consensus. Can you categorically say here to the American people today whether this is true or untrue?”

VICTORY: California Allows Tesla CEO Elon Musk to Re-Open Plant

On Tuesday, Alameda County officials were finally forced to allow Elon Musk to re-open his Tesla Fremont, California factory after they had singled him out and not allowed him to re-open.

***FIGHT BACK Against Liberal Censorship. Download Our Free Trump News App***

Check out what the Daily Wire reported:

The decision, of course, comes a bit too late for Alameda County officials; Tesla opened its Fremont, California, plant on Tuesday and is looking to ramp up production of both its electric vehicles and electric batteries despite state-level coronavirus lockdowns.

California is allowing some industrial activities to resume, but counties, like Alameda, are given leeway in restricting local businesses further, if they feel it would prevent or slow the spread of the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Alameda, of course, took advantage of that power, shutting down the county and sidelining Musk’s Fremont assembly plant.

On Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump decided to weigh in on the situation unfolding in California between Musk and Alameda county.

“California should let Tesla & [Elon Musk] open the plant, NOW. It can be done Fast & Safely,” President Trump tweeted.

Musk quickly responded to the President’s tweet by saying, “Thank you!”

Check out what the Daily Wire reported at the time:

While Tesla has been allowed to resume business under the California reopening guidelines, Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has encouraged public health officials to adopt stricter measures as deemed appropriate. Alameda County, where Tesla’s Fremont plant is located, is one such California county that has opted to do so.

After Tesla told employees last Thursday that the company would begin to resume operations the following day, Dr. Erica Pan, the interim public health officer for Alameda County, claimed that Tesla was prohibited from re-opening.

On Monday, Musk issued a tweet where he announced that he would be defying the county’s orders and would be opening up the plant immediately.

“Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules. I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me,” Musk tweeted.

The comments came after Musk filed a lawsuit against Alameda County, California, after they blocked him from re-opening his Fremont factory despite them lifting regulations on other businesses.

Musk also revealed that he would “immediately” be moving his Tesla headquarters to Nevada or Texas considering Alameda county refused to let him re-open his factory.

“Frankly, this is the final straw,” Musk tweeted. “Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately. If we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all, it will be dependen on how Tesla is treated in the future. Tesla is the last carmaker left in CA.”

Musk has clearly had enough with California’s anti-capitalistic behavior which is why he is planning on leaving the state, citing that Alameda county’s rules are “irrational” and “in violation of constitutional civil liberties.”

“I’m not messing around,” Musk said on Saturday. “Absurd & medically irrational behavior in violation of constitutional civil liberties, moreover by *unelected* county officials with no accountability, needs to stop.”

Judge Refuses To Swiftly Dismiss Case Against General Flynn Despite DOJ Request

In yet another stunning example of how the judicial system has been perverted by politics, a federal judge will not honor the DOJ’s request to swiftly dismiss the case against General Michael Flynn.

On Tuesday, Judge Emmet Sullivan delivered a peculiar decision to stall the exoneration of the framed former national security adviser in order to allow for outside parties to file briefs intended to undermine the DOJ and leave Gen. Flynn twisting in the wind indefinitely.

***FIGHT BACK Against Liberal Censorship. Download Our Free Trump News App***

Sullivan’s strange but sadly predictable move comes after an open letter by nearly 2,000 former Justice Department employees (translation: Obama loyalists) demanding that Attorney General William Barr tender his resignation.

The refusal to honor the Justice Department’s dismissal of the charges also coincides with a “leaked” phone call from former President Barack Obama decrying the decision on Flynn, a man who he despised and who he fired before framing him.

Via The New York Times, “Judge Hesitates to Accept Justice Dept. Move to Drop Flynn Charge”:

A federal judge overseeing the criminal case of President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael T. Flynn opened the door late Tuesday for legal experts and other outside parties to oppose the Justice Department’s motion to drop the case, suggesting he has at least some skepticism about the government’s argument that Mr. Flynn should never have been charged.

In a brief order, Judge Emmet G. Sullivan of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia said he would set a schedule for outside parties to present arguments about the government’s request to dismiss the case. He did not directly address the Justice Department’s motion to drop the charge, but legal experts said he appeared open to considering not only the department’s arguments but also those who have challenged its move as politically motivated.

The judge’s order is the latest twist in a high-profile criminal case that has provoked widespread criticism of Attorney General William P. Barr and has renewed questions about political influence over the Justice Department. In an extraordinary move last week, federal prosecutors asked Judge Sullivan to throw out their case against Mr. Flynn for lying to F.B.I. agents, two and a half years after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of making false statements to federal authorities.

Judge Sullivan’s move comes after a murky group that claims to be “former Watergate prosecutors” appealed to him to reject the DOJ’s order and to proceed with the already scheduled lynching.

Via CNN, “Former Watergate prosecutors urge judge to buck Justice Department and not dismiss Michael Flynn case”:

Sixteen former Watergate prosecutors have told a federal judge he has the authority to sentence former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn to prison despite the Justice Department’s effort to toss the case.

The filings add prominent voices to the backlash against Attorney General William Barr’s softening of criminal prosecutions against President Donald Trump’s associates.

In legal memos sent to the court on Monday and obtained by CNN, the former prosecutors essentially laid out the legal footing they believe Judge Emmet Sullivan has to reject the dismissal request and sentence Flynn, who had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.

They compared the current situation at the Justice Department to Watergate, the scandal and criminal investigation that led to the President Richard Nixon’s resignation.

The group, calling themselves friends of the court or “amici” in legal parlance, “experienced the ‘Saturday Night Massacre,’ during which an honorable Attorney General and an honorable Deputy Attorney General resigned or were dismissed rather than obey the instructions of a self-interested President to frustrate the work of an independent Special Prosecutor,” they wrote to the judge.

The incredible turn of events was blasted by Flynn’s legal team led by pitbull attorney Sidney Powell who condemned Sullivan’s trickery as a “travesty of justice” and quickly filed the defense’s own motion opposing the meddling of politically motivated outsiders.

The Deep State is determined to keep Flynn trapped in legal limbo and prevent him from delivering the goods on Obama, a power-crazed narcissist who is acting as a shadow president.

This story continues to develop…

Tara Reade Doubles Down, Her Lawyer Calls On Biden To Open Senate Archives To Verify Allegations

Tara Reade, the woman who has accused Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993 when she worked for Biden when he was serving in the U.S. Senate, is refusing to back down.

***News Junkie? Stay Informed With Our FREE Trump News Mobile App***

The law firm representing Reade recently sent a letter to Biden calling on him to open up his University of Delaware archives for a search of all records related to Reade’s alleged sexual harassment claim.

The letter, which was obtained by the Washington Examiner, was emailed Monday by attorney Douglas Wigdor to Biden’s presidential campaign and says that “Reade … is entitled to the process she deserves.”

“We hereby request that you immediately open up your Archives at the University of Delaware and authorize a search to determine whether they contain any records related to Ms. Reade, including, but not limited to, Ms. Reade’s Request for Counseling and/or documents related thereto,” the letter reads.

The Examiner reports:

The University of Delaware has denied all access to the archives, which were donated in 2011 by Biden, saying they won’t be made public until two years after the former vice president and 36-year Delaware senator “retires from the public eye.” Despite that provision, members of the Biden campaign reportedly accessed the archives after he announced his presidential run.

In his letter, Wigdor attacked the secretary of the Senate for refusing to disclose any documents related to Reade’s time in the Senate due to confidentiality provisions, calling the rules “draconian.”

Earlier this month, Biden asked Senate record-keepers to release any files related to Reade’s alleged sexual assault complaint.

“If that document existed, it would be stored in the National Archives, where documents from the office she claimed to have filed a complaint with are stored,” Biden said. “The Senate controls those archives. So I’m asking the secretary of the Senate today to identify if any such document exists. If it does, make it public.”

For her part, Reade has also conducted several interviews and called on Biden to come forward, admit what she says he did, and take accountable.

While speaking with the Daily Caller last Thursday, Reade said she is willing to testify under oath about her allegations.

About a month ago, journalist Katie Harper released an audio clip of an interview with Reade, which kicked everything off.

Both Biden and his campaign have denied the assault and said it “absolutely did not happen.”

While speaking with former Fox News host Megyn Kelly last week, Reade also said she would be willing to take a polygraph test as a method to possibly support her allegations if Biden would, too.

“Well, she subjected herself to cross-examination, would you do that?” Kelly asked Reade.

“Absolutely,” Reade responded.

Kelly then asked:  “They also point out that she took a polygraph.” Kelly pointed out, “Controlled by someone on her team,” before continuing, “Is that something you want to do?”

“I’m not a criminal. Joe Biden should take the polygraph … What kind of precedent does that set for survivors of violence? Does that mean we’re presumed guilty and we all have to take polygraphs? So I will take one if Joe Biden takes one. But I’m not a criminal,” Reade said.

New Poll Reveals Trump Leading Joe Biden in Two Critical 2020 States

November’s presidential election is still a few months away, but polls are already starting to give a glimpse into which candidate might do well in certain states.

***News Junkie? Stay Informed With Our FREE Trump News Mobile App***

A brand new Emerson College poll found that President Donald Trump is leading presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in both Texas and Ohio — two critical states that both candidates will be targeting heavily.

Emerson College/Nexstar Media surveyed voters in Ohio, Texas, and California regarding November’s election.

The poll found Trump leading in both Texas and Ohio. Biden, of course, is leading in the far-left state of California.

In Ohio, the poll showed Trump leading Biden 46 percent to 43 percent. It also found that 62 percent — a vast majority — of Ohio voters believe the president will be reelected.

Trump’s lead in Texas is even bigger, with the president leading Biden 47 percent to 41 percent.

In Texas, 61 percent said they believe Trump will win a second term in office.

Unsurprisingly, Biden has a whopping 30 percent lead of Trump in California.

However, the poll found that only 54 percent of California voters think Biden will be able to defeat Trump, a sign that even Democrats are not enthusiastic about Joe’s chances of defeating the president.

Spencer Kimball, Director of Emerson College Polling said the coronavirus has not had any effect on the numbers, which is a good sign for Trump as his administration continues to fight against the virus that originated in China and has taken a toll on America’s economy.

Here’s more from the Emerson College Polling report:

Across all three states, Trump voters are reporting higher levels of excitement than Biden voters. In Ohio, 70% of Trump voters are extremely or very excited to vote for him, while only 39% of Biden voters report the same level of excitement. In Texas, 67% of Trump voters are extremely or very excited, compared to 40% of Biden voters. In California, things are slightly closer, with 55% of Trump voters reporting as extremely or very excited, compared to 48% of Biden voters.

Lack of enthusiasm for Biden can also be seen with 48% of Ohio Democratic voters, 51% of Texas Democratic voters, and 46% of California Democratic voters saying they would rather have NY Governor Andrew Cuomo as the Democratic party nominee.

The survey also said voters in those three states believe the economy as the most important issue for them.

Trump won both Texas and Ohio in the 2016 presidential election. Winning both of those states again in 2020 will play a huge role in helping him win a second term in office.

Keep Your ‘Mouth Shut’: McConnell Rips Obama For Bashing Trump Admin In Leaked Conversation

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell wants former President Barack Obama to quit running his mouth behind closed doors about President Donald Trump and his administration.

***News Junkie? Stay Informed With Our FREE Trump News Mobile App***

During a virtual interview with Laura Trump, McConnell took dead aim at Obama for criticizing President Donald Trump’s coronavirus response efforts.

Last week, a recording of a private conversation between Obama and former members of his administration leaked. The tape revealed Obama taking issue with how the Trump administration has responded to the pandemic.

Obama said the Trump administration’s efforts have been “anemic,” “spotty,” and an “absolute chaotic disaster.”

McConnell fired back, expressing his opinion that Obama should have kept his mouth shut on the issue.

“I think President Obama shoulda kept his mouth shut,” McConnell said. “We know he doesn’t like much this administration is doing, that’s understandable.”

McConnell called Obama’s comments “classless” and noted he had his “shot.”

“I think it’s a little bit classless, frankly, to critique an administration that comes after you,” McConnell said.

He continued, “You had your shot, you were there for eight years. I think the tradition that the Bushes set up of not critiquing the president who comes after you is a good tradition.”

This is the second time in recent days where McConnell has absolutely torched Obama.

During a phone-in interview last Thursday on Fox News, McConnell was asked about newly released documents showing that the FBI had drawn up paperwork to close the case against Flynn, but fired agent Peter Strzok made a last-minute move to keep it open.

Strzok was fired for sending countless anti-Trump text messages to Lisa Page, a former FBI lawyer with whom he was having an affair. Strzok played a critical role in going after Flynn, the new documents reveal.

McConnell was not happy about this and slammed the FBI for how they handled Flynn.

“It’s been interesting to watch, and if all of this proves to be true, you will have, certainly, a major, major error on the part of top leadership at the FBI, which could well warrant additional charges against them,” McConnell said.

He added: “If true, this is very, very troubling — disturbing.”

Here’s more from The Federalist on the explosive new information:

Handwritten notes from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that had been inappropriately withheld from Flynn’s defense team for years show that a key goal of the agents investigating Flynn was “to get him to lie so we can prosecute him or get him fired.

In the handwritten FBI notes, the note-taker, whose identity was not made clear in the document production, wrote that an alternate goal is to “get [Flynn] to admit breaking the Logan Act,” a reference to a 1799 law restricting communications between private citizens and foreign governments.

The explosive new documents support Flynn’s latest claims that Obama-era Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI officials had conspired to set him up from the beginning and that they never had any legitimate basis for investigating him.

It certainly seems as if top brass at the FBI set up Flynn up and tried to ruin his life for no reason other than to take down Trump.

Megyn Kelly Slams Dems After Tara Reade Interview; ‘Pretending They’re Women’s Advocates’

Megyn Kelly recently held an interview with Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer accusing Joe Biden of sexual assault, and she is not happy that Democrats are clearly being hypocritical on “believing all women.”

***News Junkie? Stay Informed With Our FREE Trump News Mobile App***

During a virtual interview with The Blaze’s Glenn Beck, Kelly discussed her explosive interview with Reade last week, where they discussed the specifics of her allegations against Biden.

During the interview, Kelly also asked Reade about the hypocrisy from Democrats reacting to her allegations versus the ones against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Kelly said it’s clear Democrats are total hypocrites on the issue.

“It’s deeply disturbing information about Joe Biden and invites the question do you really want this man as president?” Kelly asked.

Kelly said what really bothered her was that Reade’s allegations “exposed how false these people who are pretending they’re women’s advocates are.”

“It upsets me as a woman, as somebody who actually has stood for female empowerment my entire life,” she continued, bringing up the Kavanaugh case. “The 180 they have done now that the allegations are against a Democrat trying to take down Trump is disgusting to me. Disgusting.”

Reade alleges that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 when she worked for him while he was serving in the U.S. Senate.

As her story is slowly starting to get more media attention, she’s also upped the ante on Biden.

While speaking with the Daily Caller last Thursday, Reade said she is willing to testify under oath about her allegations.

The Biden campaign has denied the assault and said it “absolutely did not happen.”

About a month ago, journalist Katie Harper released an audio clip of an interview with Tara Reade.

Reade begins by detailing how she was instructed to rush a gym bag to Biden at the time. Upon reaching then-Senator Biden with the bag, Reade claims that he greeted her by name, and proceeded to sexually assault her in a “side area.”

“We were alone, and it was the strangest thing. There was no, like, exchange really, he just had me up against the wall,” Reade claims.

“His hands were on me, and underneath my clothes,” Reade later says. “He went down my skirt, but then up inside. He penetrated me with his fingers.”

VOTE NOW: Should Comey Be Arrested For Framing General Flynn?

Reade alleges that Biden was kissing her and asking her if she “wanted to go somewhere else,” and that after the alleged assault was complete, he said, “C’mon man, I heard you liked me.”

She then told Harper what Biden allegedly said: “He just like pointed at me and he said, ‘You’re nothing to me!’ And then he just looked at me and said, ‘You’re nothing. Nothing.’ … I must’ve reacted because that’s when he took me by the shoulders and he said, ‘You’re okay. You’re fine. You’re okay.'”

Dishonest Political Hack Chuck Todd Delivers Lame Apology For Manipulated Video

Controversy over a manipulated video excerpt of Attorney General William Barr has led to NBC’s Chuck Todd personally apologizing after being caught red-handed for pushing propaganda.

On Sunday’s edition of the network’s flagship “news” show “Meet The Press” the activist host participated in a smear campaign against the nation’s top law enforcement official after the DOJ dropped the case against Gen. Michael Flynn.

***Help Us TAKE DOWN The Liberal Media With Our TRUMP News Mobile App!***

During a panel discussion, Todd rolled the video of Barr’s interview with CBS that was sliced and diced in order to portray the attorney general in the most negative light.

What Todd didn’t count on was a swift rebuke from the Justice Department as Director Of Communications & Public Affair Kerri Kupec who called out the distortion of Barr’s words which led to an admission and semi-apology from NBC.

Following a firestorm of criticism over Todd’s blatant manipulation of the interview clip, the host himself was forced to apologize although it was as insincere as Rep. Ilhan Omar’s fake contrition for her anti-Semitic comments.

Via The Hill, “Chuck Todd apologizes for airing edited William Barr clip”:

NBC “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd apologized on Tuesday for airing a clip Sunday of Attorney General William Barr’s interview with CBS reporter Catherine Herridge, which Todd acknowledged was misleading because of an edit that took Barr’s remarks out of context.

Todd and “Meet the Press” had come under heavy criticism for airing the clip, which made it appear that Barr had decided to drop charges against former national security adviser Michael Flynn for political reasons.

After the clip from the May 7 CBS interview aired, Todd said that Barr “didn’t make the case that he was upholding the rule of law. He was almost admitting that, yeah, this is a political job.”

On Tuesday, Todd said that while NBC was not responsible for the editing of the clip, “Meet the Press” should have checked for a full transcript.

He called it a “mistake I wish we hadn’t made and that I hadn’t made.”

He said Barr’s full answer would have put in context the portion of the interview that “Meet the Press” did air.

“Had I seen that part, I would not have framed the conversation the way I did,” he said. “And I am obviously very sorry for that mistake, and we strive to do better going forward.”

Todd’s lame apology came after President Trump called for NBC parent company Comcast aka “Concast” to fire him which the leader of the free world tweeted on Sunday night.

The POTUS included the FCC as well as FCC chairman Ajit Pai in the tweet which went viral and seems to have rattled the suits at the network.

Highly unlikely because as the old saying goes “a leopard can’t change it’s spots” and the Democrat activist who is falsely presented as a legitimate journalist is what he is and that is a walking, talking example of how the media has become the enemy of the truth.

Tucker Carlson blasts Fauci: ‘Dictator’ who ‘hasn’t been elected to anything’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson took Dr. Anthony Fauci, the administration’s top immunologist, to task during his program Tuesday for continuing to put a damper on any effort to open the country back up now that the coronavirus curve has been ‘flattened.’

Noting that Fauci appeared before a Senate committee Tuesday to discuss how and when to reopen the country, including businesses, schools, and workplaces, Carlson said the health adviser to President Donald Trump “left no doubts about how he feels about that question.”

“Opening up now, he said, after just two months of lockdowns, is a very risky, indeed a dangerous, prospect. Letting Americans work and learn once again could be a catastrophe, he said,” noted Carlson.

“And he wasn’t just referring to a handful of hotspots that have been hit especially hard. Entire states, Fauci said, likely need to remain closed.”

Fauci testified:

What I’ve expressed then and again, is my concern that if some areas city, states or what have you jump over those various checkpoints and prematurely open up without having the capability of being able to respond effectively and efficiently. My concern is that we will start to see little spikes that might turn into outbreaks.

“So just to be clear, Fauci was not simply talking about certain workers or even all workers staying at home for the foreseeable future. He implied that schools and colleges will be able to reopen only if there is a cure for this virus or a vaccine. He said that prospect was a bridge too far,” said Carlson. “In other words, no school until the coronavirus has been cured — stopped.”

That’s obviously not very realistic or even practical, given that our children’s primary education is paramount to their success in life. Also, what are parents with younger children who will eventually go back to work outside the home supposed to do? Most can’t quit their jobs to become full-time caretakers.

“Fauci says that children must stay home or countless people will die — that’s the message. And so I’m just going to ask a very simple question: How does he know this exactly? Is Tony Fauci right about the science? Do we have any particular reason to think he is right?” Carlson asked.

The Fox News host went on to note that Sweden never did shut down its businesses and schools, and yet the country survived the great COVID pandemic. Somehow.

Also, he said several European countries have reopened their schools without significant spikes in coronavirus cases. That likely is because, as we’ve known now for months, COVID-19 does not afflict younger, healthy people nearly as much as it does older people, especially those with preexisting health problems.

“No one has explained why exactly schools specifically must stay closed. There’s a huge cost to that — massive. An entire generation of young people are not being educated because, let’s not lie to ourselves, they are not. And yet as of right now, very few people under 18 have been seriously hurt by the coronavirus,” Carlson said.

But when Fauci was asked about it, he didn’t really have an answer. He said that we aren’t yet sure that children are “completely immune to the virus.”

“Complete immunity?” Carlson said. “Since when is that a requirement?”

Kids aren’t completely immune to anything. And we never keep them out of school for months on end during the influenza season, yet influenza actually kills children. Coronavirus, so far, hasn’t.

That’s “not a talking point,” Carlson added. “It’s factually true. Look it up.”

Some lawmakers are finally beginning to ask Fauci some hard questions about all the shutdown advice he’s been given, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

“I don’t think you’re the end all. I don’t think you’re the one person that gets to make a decision,” Paul told Fauci during his testimony Tuesday.

“Tony Fauci has not been elected to anything. He has had the same job for nearly 40 years. That means the majority of American voters never even indirectly picked him for the role he has now. This is not the result of any kind of democratic process at work at all,” Carlson said. “In the last four months, Fauci has become one of the most powerful people in the world. And some, particularly in our media and in our Democratic establishment, are clamoring to give Dr. Fauci even more power. Why?”

And remember, just a few months ago, in January, Fauci was telling Americans coronavirus wasn’t a big deal.

“Some people seem to think he should be dictator for the duration of this crisis. That’s insanity,” Carlson said.
