The man, Joechim Iroko, who named his dog after President Muhammadu Buhari, Wednesday, showed up at the Ota Magistrate Court 2, Ogun State yet his procedures for the situation with suit number MOT/617c/2016 couldn’t hold because of the unavoidable non attendance of presiding Magistrate, P. J. Ojikutu who was said to go to a screening exercise.
In court on Thursday to speak to Mr. Iroko were three Lagos-based legal practitioners : Messrs. Adeola Samuel Opeyemi, Esq from LEAD SOLICITORS; Tosin Adesioye, Esq. from the Law Firm of ADEGBORUWA and COMPANY and human rights legal advisor, Inibehe Effiong.
In court for the indictment was DSP. B.G. Emenike, Esq.
The case has been suspended to the twentieth of March 2017 for knowing about the Motion on Notice challenging the jurisdiction of the court and the competence of the charge.
