According to report, police officers have arrested a 24-year-old kidnapper who allegedly abducted a 4-year-old pupil.
Report further identified the kidnap kingpin as Wale Ogunbadejo and the victim as Attairu Amisu.
It was gathered that the suspect had gone to the school known as Abdul Rahman Academy, in the Obalende Ijebu-Ode of the state pretending to be a relative sent by his parents to pick him up.
Few minutes after the school authorities handed over the boy to the purported relative, it was learned that the mother of the child arrived to pick him up only to be told that her relation had earlier come for him.
Having successfully kidnapped the child, Ogunbadejo and his gang reportedly contacted the family demanding a ransom of N5 million.
Nemesis however caught up with him when the case was reported to the police and a manhunt for the suspects was initiated, leading to his arrest in his hideout and the child was rescued unhurt.
